Jon Keen
Jon is a senior advisor, coach and facilitator with over 10 years’ experience working with leadership and people development in small and large organisations. He specialises in supporting senior leaders and their development in times of significant change. He develops organisational talent through experiential programmes, sometimes in wild locations and embeds learning through workplace coaching.
Jon has extensive experience working internationally and developing diverse teams in close quarters in some of the most challenging of environments. His career began in Superyachts where he was fast-tracked to a position of ultimate responsibility as Captain. The transferable skills enabled Jon to successfully lead a property development company and a business to business sales team.
Jon went on to develop his skills in working with individuals, teams and the communities and organisations they serve. This led him to extensive training in group work, psychology and leadership coaching at the Institute of Psychosynthesis, where he graduated with a masters in Psychosynthesis Psychology.
He has worked with organisations such as Edrington, Babcock Marine and Technology, Thales Group, BG Group, Morrison Utilities, BAE, Airbus, Rolls-Royce, National Grid, Sellafield, Britvic.
ILLUSTRATIVE CONSULTING ASSIGNMENTS
• Design and implementation of a 4-year programme to build a Growth Mindset and Coaching culture for the largest supplier of support services to the Royal Navy. Implementation involved workplace coaching to embed learning and change. Subsequently Jon trained and supervised first generation participants as in-company coaches. This programme won The Princess Royal Training Award.
• Design and part-delivery of a global leadership development programme for international spirits company including 121 coaching of senior leaders and mangers.
• Board level group work, facilitation and coaching to bring together a new BOD for a national UK based automotive organisation.
• Facilitation of international graduates of a multinational oil and gas company during its acquisition to develop their resilience, understanding and management of change.
• Coaching C-Suite level executives of a global aerospace company with over 44K employees.
