Supervision Requirements
A formal, written contractual supervisory relationship is essential — whether one-to-one or group.
Supervisors are expected to hold a recognised qualification in supervision, or demonstrate equivalent maturity of practice for a minimum of 5 years.
Where a Certified Professional or Accredited Member does not currently have a suitably qualified supervisor, a 12-month moratorium may be applied at the point of renewal.
We hold a reasonable expectation that active practitioners engage in supervision at least quarterly.
Supervision is expected to make a clear and demonstrable contribution to your practice.
