About my Practice

Experience as an Executive Coach
I have worked as an Executive Coach for nearly 25 years in both the public and private sectors all across the world. I work at all levels in organisations both individually and in teams but most of my experience has been gained at Board and Executive level in FTSE 100 and DAX top 30 organisations. A recent example of my work was to assist in the "reset of the organisational strategy" which included team and individual coaching. The team coaching included the identification of core purpose of the organisation and the identification and coaching of the behaviours that support the purpose, values and culture that support the delivery of the organisational purpose.

Business and organisational experience

I bring 25 years practical experience gained through international senior line management roles at director and non executive director levels alongside senior consultancy roles.

I lead my own niche and successful organisation Transcend Consultancy Limited. I have worked with Blue Chip Clients, Senior Public Sector Clients and in the not for profit sector both in the UK and internationally I bring an unusual ability to think widely and pragmatically.

I am passionate about my work and like to assist in the exploration and implementation of ideas that enable organisations, teams and individuals to achieve their goals in a sustainable, repeatable and relevant manner. I hold a belief that if the inter personal relationships can be understood within a clear frame of what we are doing then things become easier and more fluid.

I conduct and publish primary research into organisational effectiveness, leadership and Transformational (in the original sense of the word!) change.

My work is now characterised by holding a holistic and systemic perspective which helps resources individuals and teams to increase their awareness and leadership in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous world.

Qualifications and training

I am both a qualified Management Accountant and a qualified psychotherapist. I hold an M.Sc. and Diploma in Gestalt psychotherapy and also hold qualifications in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Executive Coaching, Coaching supervision, Systemic Coaching and Constellating.

I am a systemic coach who works alongside individuals and teams to help them to understand their transforming purpose. Using practical, insightful approaches (including constellations, psychologically minded inquiry, dialogue skills, different kinds of experiments) I help you generate an exciting and new awareness of yourself and your context. This helps generate new and breakthrough approaches that impact you and your wider organisation as well as the wider world. Increasingly, I am very interested in focusing on you as an individual but really encourage you (and I work alongside you to do this) to consider and work to what also develops those around you.
