Mat Lowery
Mat is an executive coach, team coach and leadership advisor. His superpower is helping leaders uncover the beliefs, mindsets and dynamics driving their own and others' behaviour, and helping them, their teams, and the organisations they work in perform at their best.
Mat brings a unique blend of passion, talent and practical experience acquired both as an Executive in global blue-chip companies and through extensive training and experience as a coach. As a result, he understands both the commercial imperatives, practical realities and the human dynamics of organisations. With his firm challenge and coaching, his clients learn to anticipate and respond effectively to the complex and evolving challenges they face. Over the last 28 years Mat has helped executives, leadership teams and organisations across a range of sectors and geographies enhance their impact to deliver positive, profitable and sustainable results. Most recently he was EMEA Director of Leadership, Learning & Talent at Adobe, a company recognized for its innovative and impactful people practices and sustained business growth. Before that, Mat was the Global Head of Leadership & People Development at Rolls-Royce for its Commercial and Corporate Functions.
Mat has coached and advised hundreds of executives, boards and leadership teams globally and has also designed and delivered award winning development programs for some of the world’s most respected brands.
Mat is never more energised than when supporting Leaders, where business goals meet human challenges - where it gets messy, tricky and incredibly complex. Mat holds a B.A. in Economics & International Politics from the University of Manchester, and in 2017 graduated with distinction from Henley Business School with an MSc in Coaching & Behavioural Change. Fascinated by the ‘secret life of groups’ in March 2019 Mat was awarded a Certificate in Group Dynamics at Board Level from the Tavistock Institute and in 2022 secured a Diploma in Coaching from the Eco-Leadership Institute.
