I am qualified in psychological coaching and organisational change. My approach supports and enables change by helping clients to deepen their understanding of themselves and the organisation in which they operate - allowing them to develop the contribution they choose to make in (often) increasingly complex and uncertain environments.

I enjoy working with people who are truly open to exploration; curious about how they see and experience the world, and interested to grow their awareness around this and, from that, see more clearly the choices and changes they would like to make.

I am committed to creating a respectful, supportive and challenging coaching environment, where clients can increase their awareness, confidence and skills for intervening in new and effective ways. I am particularly interested in how people can be helped to harness their natural energies and ambitions to allow enlivening change to happen.

Clients have given me the following feedback on what it is like to work with me:

“The sessions were very fluid and I felt comfortable expressing myself and felt that it was the ‘whole’ person receiving coaching, not just a person in a work scenario”… “She is an excellent listener, is motivating and optimistic, and able to challenge constructively”.

Malin is an incredible listener, always making me feel like what I am saying is being heard – she is particularly good at summarizing and feeding back clearly and concisely what may have taken me half an hour to talk through. she has a real skill at getting me to go a bit deeper into a situation and focus on the key development point I am actually wanting to work on.

…and what they felt working with me enabled them to do: ...“I have developed the confidence to change role at the charity”... “My sessions with Malin have provided a space for me each month where I am supported to test out ideas, challenge my own assumptions and ask myself Sheryl Sandberg’s question ‘What would you do if you weren’t afraid?’”.

“I found the sessions have enabled me to move forward and work on various issues having seen them in a new light and in a differing perspective”.

“My experience working with Malin has really enabled me to see and believe in my ability, skill and strength to perform my role. ‘Strong’ is a key word for me, as after any session with Malin I come out feeling like I have conquered a mountain and have my feet strongly fixed on the ground able to take that feeling and strength forward for similar situations or challenges”.

Prior to working as a coach my own executive work experience was gained in a variety of different sectors, including the oil and gas industries, publishing and journalism, and the pharmaceutical and charity sectors. I hold an MA in Psychological Coaching from the Metanoia Institute and an Ashridge MSc in Organisational Change.

I coach clients face-to-face and, as needed, over the phone or via Skype.
