Julie Allan

I work developmentally with leadership, enabling people to navigate their changing contexts with finesse, integrity and for beneficial impact. I bring deep expertise in adult development, broad experience across sectors, curiosity and pragmatism in working to maximise potential for the emerging future.

Following a career in print journalism, primarily with the BBC, I moved into organisational psychology and offer expertise from almost 25 years of leading edge practice supporting private and public sector endeavour. This has included large scale change, selection, assessment, training and MBA tutoring as well as executive coaching.

Coaching

Working primarily with executive levels and those identified as having high potential, I have coached for:

  • Sectors including media, finance, banking, law, logistics, pharma and the arts

  • Local government

  • Education leadership (heads and NQTs)

  • Central government departments, primarily SCS and selected graduate populations

  • (very) small business owners and people embarking on new phases of their lives

My clients are frequently navigating times of significant challenge for themselves and others. My holistic approach supports people to manage themselves well, expand their capacities and become more capable for, and influential in, their contexts. I engage in pro bono work that currently includes the New Entrepreneurs Foundation.
