Amanda Larcombe

Alison is an experienced Professional Supervisor who is passionate about supporting and enabling practitioners to be the very best they can be.

Profile:

Working systemically, I provide you with the regular protected safe space you need to sustain and grow both yourself and your practice, in the service of your clients and your chosen profession.  My supervision practice is underpinned and informed by an extensive business, executive coaching and psychotherapeutic background: over 30 years in leadership & management across all three sectors; 20 years as a practitioner in private practice (Executive Coaching / Counselling) and 14 years as a Supervisor of both coaches and therapists.

Supervision Approach:

My work centres on developing high quality, mutually respectful, enabling relationships: based on trust, authenticity and a deep desire to understand and harness the power of you and your own resources in the service of your practice as a coach. I am Relational Coach Supervisor who works systemically (Hawkins, Shohet & Carroll): working with the whole of you, your clients, and the world in which these exist. The philosophical foundation for my approach is an integration of humanistic and gestalt philosophies.  Through this frame of reference, with you in sharp focus, I can draw on a wide range of models to meet your unique needs: these include, but are not limited to, transactional analysis; cognitive behavioural coaching; sports psychology and creative approaches.
