Future Challenges and the Contribution of Coaching

Presented by Professor David Lane.

In this webinar we will be looking at the wider context of coaching, including the impact of genetics, robotics, AI, climate change and nanotechnology. We will explore the extent to which coaching is equipped to deal with these issues, in the context of the increasing complexity and volatility of business.

Most coaches are trained in either a single psychological model, an amalgamated model or have designed their own model within which to work. Within that, our profession has focused on the development of individual approaches, with arguably less use of the interpersonal models, and much less focus on using a systemic complexity model.  This webinar draws a distinction between the systematic and systemic models. Here we are referring to a non linear complex systemic model, rather than systematic.

We look at the future needs of coaching; how we enable organisations to deal with multiple changes without necessarily having clarity on the causation. All this has an implication for the way we coach, we train coaches, and the CPD we do. Join us to explore this important topic.
