Presented by Lise Lewis.
We know that feedback makes sense when we’re expected to do more with less resources in today’s world of work. In fact, an HBR article published last year suggests that ‘feedback is the hottest topic in business today’. What’s needed more than ever in these turbulent and strange times is everyone’s commitment and accountability to make sure businesses survive and thrive - difficult to achieve always and especially with those who may currently be furloughed.
This session is relevant whether you’re a coach, mentor, supervisor, manager, or leader and focuses on those difficult conversations that many prefer to avoid and certainly don’t relish receiving! Avoidance isn’t the answer to gaining cooperation for improvement that works for both the individual and the organisation.
You’ll be introduced to the approach created by Lise Lewis the author of Relational Feedback: Why Feedback Fails and How to Make It Meaningful published by Routledge in February. The focus for the session will invite feedback stories that inform our dialogue. The intention is to explore approaches that encourage the best conditions for receptivity of feedback.
Please note: this session will be recorded to be shared with the APECS community. By registering for this event, you are giving your consent for the recording to be shared.
